Incidentally, that was also roughly how long I took for my first playthroughs of Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima. That does require some horsepower. It seems though that AC Origins makes plenty of use of our cpu. The more threads you have, the better it is. (just run MSI Afterburner and see how stressed your cpu threads are). It's not that games have suddenly remember cpu existed. Games are getting more complex and require more power.
