The 5D4, DR, AF and AF accuracy along with much better low light AF acquisition are all superior to the 1Dx. AWB is much better as well, particularly indoors.

5D Mark III. Exposure bracketing. Mar 16, 2012. In reading the specs a week ago I thought it said that for AEB (auto exposure bracketing) that there would be options beyond 3 settings. But as I read through the manual the AEB section ony has 3! Reading further there is a section on Multiple exposures of 2-9.

This shot in low light with a kit lens at f/5.6 would not even have been possible. Even with the ISO cranked to 12,800 at f/5.6 the shutter speed would be 1/5th of a second. WAY too slow for hand holding and a moving subject. If you have the f1/8 version of the 50mm lens your shutter speed would still be okay at 1/50th.

Shutter speed is a factor also when shooting under common fluorescent lighting. At higher shutter speeds, color banding and exposure inconsistencies become an issue. I just get Mark III and EF 24-105 1:4 L IS USM lens and went for important indoor presentation with combination of tungsten and fluorescent lights.
