Simplified: both are essentially the same game with different environment, at the end of the day it essentially ends being about whether you like America better or Europe better. ETS 2 v1.48.5 Full map. Not much to go further south, bring on the much needer northern Scandinavian areas. And Ireland + Iceland pack of course. To be fair, the entire UK needs redone at this point aside from Poland its some of the oldest parts of the map. It got lightly touched at one point but nowhere near some of the newer maps where the
waffles Jun 29, 2014 @ 11:09pm. I prefer tiny roads instead of those in the US. Besides, the road surface is better. #3. ArcticBliss Jun 30, 2014 @ 12:02am. Some roads in this game are ridiculously narrow compared to real roads, especially some of the highway ramps comes to mind. #4.
Now for the calculation: s = v * t. v = 50km/h = 13.8889m/s. t = 3:40min = 220s. => s = 13.8889m/s * 220s = 3055.6m. Therefore 0.07% of the streets are about 3km. Now using the rule of three: 3055.6m / 0.0007 = 4,365,143m in total which is a whopping 4,365km of street! Now one could argue that I could have just measured the distance of one job

Meraz, I think you are missing the point that the entire Europe in ETS2 is completely different compared to a Country in FSX. FSX use Google Maps to get the Terrain Textures, and for the advanced Terrain Packs, they also use Google Maps but just add different layers on it for better contrast and clarity, they don't do them by hand.
